Photography & Social Media Policy

We're proud of what happens in the gym and we share it. Photos and short videos from classes and events go on our website, Instagram, Facebook and other social media. This policy explains how we do that fairly, and what to do if you'd rather not be in them.

Photos and videos we take

• Coaches and staff sometimes take photos and videos during classes, courses, seminars and events, for our website and social media.
• They show training as it happens: group shots, pads, drills, team photos after a session.
• We never take photos in changing areas. Ever.

If you don't want to be in them

• Tell any coach, or the desk, once. We'll keep you out of what we post.
• You can change your mind either way at any time.
• Opting out never affects your membership or how you're treated.

Children and under-18s

• We only feature a child in our posts where a parent or guardian is happy for us to. Tell us when you sign your child up, or any time after.
• We never publish a child's full name alongside their photo.
• If school, family or safeguarding circumstances mean your child must not appear in photos at all, tell us and we'll make sure every coach knows.

Taking a photo down

If you or your child appear in something we've posted and you want it removed, tell us and we'll take it down promptly, no questions asked: info@warriorcombatgym.co.uk or 0151 476 0762.

Members' own photos

• By all means take photos of yourself and your mates, but ask before you photograph or film other members, and never post someone else without their OK.
• Don't photograph other people's children.
• No phones or cameras in changing areas.

Press and professional photography

Occasionally a photographer or local press might attend an event. We'll always tell you in advance, and the opt-outs above apply the same way.
